Vatican Radio’s Podcast: The Beauty of the Bible

“The beauty of the Bible” is the new podcast dedicated to Scripture by Vatican Radio. It offers brief reflections on some Biblical texts in response to the proposal of Pope Francis launched on Saint Jerome’s Day 2020 to dedicate a whole year to the reading of the Word of God. With these, Mgr. Giacomo Morandi, Secretary of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, leads us in the footsteps of the Fathers and Mothers of the faith, bringing the great faces of the Word to the public at large. Mons. Giacomo Morandi was born in Modena in 1965. He met Don Divo Barsotti, deciding to be a member of the Community of the Sons of God. In Rome he obtained a Licentiate in Biblical Sciences at the Pontifical Biblical Institute and, later, a doctorate in Missiology at the Gregorian University. He received episcopal ordination in 2017 and in 2022 was appointed Bishop of Reggio Emilia-Guastalla.
