Since 2005 to the present day, each edition of Torino Spirituality is a stretch of a common path, a path of understanding developed in the hundreds of meetings scheduled each
This week all men and women religious are invited to the annual conference organized by the Institute of Consecrated Life (Claretianum). The religious will discuss the theme of migration, reinterpreted in a biblical and theological key. As Pope Francis pointed out: Our efforts towards the migrants who arrive can be summarized in four verbs: welcome, protect, promove and integrate. In fact, it is not a matter of lowering welfare programs from above, but of making a journey together through these four actions, to build cities and countries that, while preserving their cultural and religious identities, are open to differences and knowplan to value them in the sign of human brotherhood» (Brothers all, 129). In this the religious have always played and continue to play a leading role. The Conference can be followed in presence, at the headquarters of the Institute, or online on its website.
