Storytellers “Recounts” the Lives of the Protagonists of the Gospel

The weekly Cr. edere magazine launched a series of stories, which can be found in the center of the magazine, dedicated to the protagonists of the Gospel. Significant Well known writers such as Eraldo Affinati, Enrico Brizzi, Susanna Bo, Matteo Strukul and many others will present in July and August some Gospel characters, restoring in a personal way, through their eyes, episodes and figures of the Gospel that we know well. In his time, St. Ignatius suggested “visualizing” the Gospel passage by imagining the place, the people, the environment…. and immersing oneself in it, as if one were part of the scene. Last May 27, Pope Francis spoke about the importance of “poetic imagination.” The aforementioned writers did something like this by giving us a fresh look at familiar episodes and characters from the Gospel…. and by giving us back their “life” encounters with Jesus, who of course is the real protagonist of the Gospels, but left indelible traces in those who crossed his path.
