Understanding What You Read: Lecture on the Word of Life

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the document drawn up by the Pontifical Biblical Commission on The Interpretation of the Bible in the Church, The magazine Parole di Vita dedicates its Periodic Conference to a reassessment of the hermeneutical and methodological questions that the document raises, to also outline an assessment of its impact on the biblical exegesis of the last thirty years. Founded in 1955, the magazine Parole di Vita, published by Queriniana, is the bimonthly edition of the Italian Biblical Association dedicated to the updating and biblical formation of pastoral workers. It aims to disseminate and make accessible on the cultural and pastoral level the most qualified and recent exegetical studies. The conference will take place from 24 to 26 March 2023 in Assisi.
