Formative Offer of Centro Biblico in Quito (Ecuador)

The Centro Biblico Verbo Divino (CBVD) offers courses that promote the reading and study of the Bible with a pastoral and community perspective. The Bible Center also offers various Bible courses and workshops “in situ” for BEC’s, dioceses and religious communities, according to their particular needs. The proposals for the month of August and September are the following: 1) Biblical study of the Eucharist. “My flesh for the life of the world” (John 6:51). Advisor: Fr. Fidel Oñoro. The SVD missionaries arrived in Ecuador in 1893 and settled definitively in 1962 in the city of Guaranda, province of Bolivar. Since then the work in the service of the missions has expanded throughout the country; the purpose has always been to offer a better service and effectiveness in spreading the Word of God and the Christian message in the Latin American continent. For this reason the “Grupo Editorial Verbo Divino” was established. The components of this Group – Publishing houses, bookstores and Bible Centers – share their editorial funds, experience and materials for the biblical apostolate. In Ecuador the main house is “Centro Bíblico Verbo Divino” located in the city of Quito.
