Una tavola rotonda – che si è svolta su Radio Maria lo scorso 10 marzo – ha sottolineato la preziosità di leggere la Bibbia contestualizzandola nella storia e nella geografia
“Sometimes you need to stir up the waters”. This is just one of the remarkable quotes from the Jesus of the Chosen TV series. It is the first-ever multi-season series about the life of Jesus of Nazareth and it has taken the world by fire as it already had 300 million views (and counting!) since its 1st season. The team has started filming for the third season.
Beyond the season 2 finale, there are many more chapters of Jesus’s story left to tell, and episode 8 ending with the Sermon on the Mount, leaves countless miracles and story threads yet to explore. Some of the biggest include the Feeding of the 5,000, Jesus calming a storm over the Sea of Galilee as well as walking on water. On top of that, after news of John the Baptist’s arrest was brought to Jesus in season 2, there will likely be a dark twist to this particular plot thread.
The series is a crowd-funded production in a system called pay it forward. The creator and director of the series, Dallas Jenkins promises the new episodes will be ready to release by the end of 2022.The first two seasons are now available in different languages, including Italian and Spanish.
You can watch the series’ Season 1 and 2 for free by downloading the Chosen app at playstore or you could go here.
