Yeshu’a: Columbia’s Biblical Initiative in Radio and on TV

Colombia

The Yeshu’a Catholic Bible School is a non-profit foundation dedicated to evangelization with a special emphasis on the formation, dissemination and study of the Holy Scriptures, as well as the integral promotion of the human being. The School is present on the radio long before having its own radio station. It begins with a band from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m on Radio Bolivariana. In this space the biblical teachings were spread. The station Voice of Jesus Christ began broadcasting on January 10, 2006 24 hours without commercial advertisements to this day. The School, now also on TV, is a crucible of leaders of the New Evangelization that has emerged for the church from the Archdiocese of Medellin. It arises as a gift from God who sows the pastoral yearning of the theologian Oscar Henao accompanied by his wife Luz María Cuartas who, after twenty years of pastoral life in different movements and activities of the church in addition to university teaching in the area of theology and Sacred Scripture, they experience that “the Lord opens this door” for the blessing of God’s people.
