The “Bible de la rue” project consists of creating and printing a “Bible for the homeless”, intended for the homeless. It was created at the request of structures working with homeless people who wished to have a Bible available for distribution. Unfortunately, the existing ones do not meet the needs of their beneficiaries. The goal is to have this Bible for homeless people available by September 2023! In creating a Bible for the homeless, the intuition is to have a tool that meets the needs of the homeless. Here is a non-exhaustive list of the contents of this Bible, elaborated thanks to your comments: Use of the Word of Life version, a translation accessible to the greatest number and especially adapted to people of foreign origin; Printing in larger characters, because homeless people do not always have good access to care and may have vision problems; Implementation of QR codes to refer to useful sites for homeless people (115, Entourage, etc.); A zippered format so that the Bible is as protected as possible from inclement weather and that homeless people can use it to store important papers.
