The Editorial Director of St.Pauls-Philippines, Father Angelo Paolo Asprer, recently visited the International Coordination of the Centro Biblico San Paolo. We took the opportunity to ask him a few questions
What exactly do we mean when we use the different terms Bible, Holy Scripture, or the Word? Are they synonymous? These questions open the path of Knowing the Bible: An Itinerary in 19 Stages which corresponds to 19 short videos, in which we are introduced to the world of the Bible and the different parts that make it up: the Pentateuch, the Historical Books, the Wisdom books, the Prophetic books. And then continue with the Gospels, the letters of Paul, and the Catholic letters. The itinerary is introduced by P. Gaetano Piccolo, SJ. He tells us that “when we introduce ourselves to someone, to say who we are, we narrate something about ourselves, we deliver ourselves not only through but in words. The Bible is the word in which God reveals himself and hands himself over to us. For this reason, we also call it Sacred Scripture, sacred that is, divine…”. In this journey, there will be insights into the relationship between the Word of God and music, art, web, catechesis, and many others. This biblical itinerary is brought to us by the Daughters of St. Paul.
