“If we look at the New Testament in the light of the Old Testament and the light of ancient Christian writings… all of a sudden it becomes clear that what Catholics believe about Mary is not only deeply biblical but based on what we believe about Christ.”

Dr. Pitre is a professor of Scripture at the Augustine Institute who has written many academic books like Jesus and the Jewish Roots of Mary.
