This season of Fall the St. Paul Center for Biblical Theology offers streaming access to a 12-part video series entitled The Bible and the Church Fathers available from 14th September to 26th October 2022. The series will be led by Mike Aquilina, a renowned church father expert.
The Bible and the Church Fathers will teach you everything you need to know about how the Bible took form. You’ll learn powerful tools for reading it, and you’ll understand Scripture’s relationship to Tradition and, in particular, to the Sacraments.
What’s more, you’ll recognize the powerful effect of Scripture on the Church Fathers. For them, this was no academic pursuit. Their love of God’s Word transformed their lives—just as it has the power to transform ours today.
The Bible and the Church Fathers series is part of the St. Paul Center for Biblical Theology’s dynamic Journey Through Scripture Bible. This study series is a flagship Bible study program designed to help ordinary Catholics grow in their knowledge of the Scriptures while deepening their understanding of the riches of our faith. Journey through Scripture takes a holistic approach, looking at the entire Bible and how all its parts work together.
