Responding to the great interest of biblical scholars, especially its alumni, the Pontifical Biblical Institute has maintained a robust continuing education initiative for many years. This programme is specifically designed for academics and lecturers of Sacred Scripture across Faculties of Theology and other institutions of study.

The theme of the upcoming seminar, scheduled from 26 to 30 January 2026, is Apocalypticism: Biblical and Extrabiblical Texts.

The seminar will be coordinated by Professors Luca Pedroli and Luigi Santopaolo, both members of the Pontifical Biblical Institute faculty. The Seminar features three common plenary lectures each day, scheduled across the morning and afternoon, followed by in depth sessions in the latter part of the afternoon (4:30 PM–6:00 PM) for groups.
