Psalm 119 (118)
29Psalm about the Law. This psalm, the longest in the Bible, repeats without tiring that to follow the word of God is life and happiness.
1 Blessed are they whose ways are upright, who follow the law of the Lord.
2 Blessed are they who treasure his word and seek him with all their heart.
3 They do no wrong; they walk in his ways.
4 You have laid down precepts to be obeyed. 5 O, that my ways were steadfast in observing your statutes!
6 Then I would not be put to disgrace, having paid attention to all your decrees.
7 I will praise you with an upright spirit when I learn your just precepts by heart.
8 I mean to observe your commandments. O, never abandon me.
9 How can young people remain pure? By living according to your word.
10 I seek you with my whole heart; let me not stray from your commands.
11 In my heart I have kept your word, that I may not sin against my Lord.
12 Praise to you, O Lord; instruct me in your statutes, 13 that with my lips I may declare all your spoken decrees.
14 I delight in following your laws, more so than in all riches.
15 I will meditate on your precepts and concentrate on your ways.
16 In your laws I will rejoice and will not neglect your words.
17 Be kind to your servant, that I may live to follow your word.
18 Open my eyes that I may see the marvelous truths in your law.
19 Do not hide your commandments from me, a wanderer on earth.

22 Remove from me their scorn and contempt, since I have followed your precepts.
23 Although princes conspire against me, your servant will ob serve your decrees.
24 Your laws are my delight, my counselors who uphold me.
25 In the dust I lie prostrate; lift me up, as promised by your word.

27 Explain to me all your ordinances, and I will meditate on your wondrous deeds.
28 My soul is weary with sorrow; strengthen me according to your word.
29 Keep me away from deceitful paths; be gracious and teach me your law.
30 I have chosen the way of truth; I have set my heart upon your laws.
31 Since I cling to your decrees, O Lord, save me from disgrace.

44 May I always keep your word for ever and ever; 45 I shall walk in free dom, having sought out your laws.
46 I will proclaim your word before kings, and I will not be confused or ashamed.
47 For I delight in your word, which I fear. 48 I will lift up my hands to you, and meditate on your commandments.
49 Remember your word to your servant, your word which has given me hope.
50 My consolation in suffering is this: that your promise renews my life.
